MUMBAI: Unity Small Finance Financial institution Ltd, promoted by Centrum Monetary Providers Ltd and Resilient Improvements Pvt. Ltd (BharatPe), commenced operations on Monday, the Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI) mentioned, taking Punjab and Maharashtra Cooperative (PMC) Financial institution a step nearer to decision.
In February, Centrum Monetary Providers and BharatPe had submitted a joint proposal to take over PMC Financial institution. Centrum Monetary Providers is a step-down subsidiary of listed entity Centrum Capital and gives credit score to small and mid-sized corporations starting from ₹2 lakh to ₹2 crore.
