Infosys Consulting Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infosys Ltd, stated on Wednesday that it has acquired a 100% of the share capital of Singapore Telecommunications Ltd’s (Singtel) supply centre in Malaysia – International Enterprise Worldwide Malaysia – for SGD 6 million (about $4.4 million).
The acquisition is geared toward bolstering the corporate’s presence in Malaysia as a strategic supply and gross sales hub in South East Asia for international shoppers.
“This transfer additionally aligns with Infosys’ long-term technique for communications, media, and know-how (CMT) vertical together with platform led transformation of buyer and repair expertise for shoppers,” Infosys stated in an announcement.
This comes at a time when Indian IT companies firms try to scale up their consulting follow to compete with international friends like Accenture and Capgemini.
