Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) prolonged the timeline for submission of written feedback on its recently-floated dialogue paper associated to spectrum public sale until 10 January. This consists of 5G.
Trai mentioned, the deadline for written feedback, which was earlier set for December 28, 2021, has been prolonged after requests from stakeholders for extra time.
“TRAI had launched a session paper on ‘Public sale of Spectrum in frequency bands recognized for IMT/5G’ on November 30, 2021,” the regulator mentioned.
The final date for receiving written feedback on the problems raised within the session paper from the stakeholders was earlier fastened for December 28, 2021, and for counter feedback, it was January 11, 2022.
“Holding in view the requests of stakeholders for extension of time for submission of feedback, it has been determined to increase the final date for submission of written feedback and counter feedback as much as 10 January 2022, and 24 January 2022, respectively,” the regulator added.
No additional requests for extension will probably be thought-about, it asserted.
