The government policies on education and society awareness at large and its impact on the social environment while building up culture pillars need to be considered an aspect of job-ready. In general, while constituting policies, broad challenges associated with higher education needs to be addressed. There are broader challenges centred on quality education and a conducive environment for the improvement and innovative approach for the same. Work is worship should be imbibed as a way of life. This type of education culture takes care of the ‘commitment’ of all in the society in any domain of walk of life. This is an imperative need in the current scenario at the workplace if India wants to excel on the global front as a leading player and also to build a strong nation for the next generation. This would also impel urge of policy change in the selection of human resources, commitment and performance of the workforce are to be emphasized as a qualitative outcome of education system rather than quantitative outcome-oriented grades in the examinations for mending merits, classification and promotion. Developing qualitative skill-oriented workforce rather than quantitative merit base workforce, which is low in skill. If one does not imbibe the true purpose of higher education one cannot succeed. Improving the quality of education in the emerging situation (where every domain of knowledge in higher education is growing and developing) is a serious challenge confronting educationists, academicians, policymakers and planners. A momentous need for innovative teaching-learning methodology will be the catalyst for addressing the rising expectations of the stakeholders.
