McDonald’s Halloween Pails are again — and with followers dashing to get their palms on one, the mad sprint is wreaking havoc for workers.
The quick meals chain introduced they have been bringing again its once-signature Halloween reward with a Joyful Meal buy after a six-year hiatus for a restricted time starting October 18 whereas provides final till October 31, based on a press release from the model. The buckets can be found in three designs and characters – white McBoo, orange McPunk’n, and inexperienced McGoblin.
The pails have been first launched in 1986 and have been used for trick-or-treating on Halloween for many years.
However ever since McDonald’s dropped the 2022 Halloween Pails earlier this month, demand has been by the roof, inflicting some staff to take to social media to complain.
One employee detailed the behind-the-scenes preparation for the drop and the mayhem that adopted in a viral TikTok which has since been considered over 83,000 instances.

Exhibiting clips of the eatery full of consumers — and revealing he spent most of his shift organizing the buckets for them simply to promote out in two hours — his fellow McDonald’s staff sounded off within the feedback about their workload and prospects’ habits.
“We had 9 containers, every with 108 [pails] and solely had 2 containers left by the top of the day,” one particular person commented.
